Kumamoto is attracting a lot of attention from all over the world as the land of Miyamoto Musashi's later years. Miyamoto Musashi's military method is known as Niten Ichiryu, which is spelled out at the beginning of “the Book of Five Rings (Gorin sho)” written in Reiwado, and is still inherited in Kumamoto without interruption.
